We're crazy for mangoes at the moment. They're super delicious this season. Totally not local but such a treat.

Besides their amazing taste, mangoes have TONS of health benefits. Their high levels of fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C make them great for digestion, lowering cholesterol, nourishing the skin, and boosting the immune system. Yes, please.

These chocolate-dipped mango wedges are fun snacks for a gathering, and super simple to make.

Happy Summer, friends!

2 Live A Lot Chocolate bars, melted (we used Ignite this time to add extra fruitiness)

1 large organic mango, sliced into about 1-inch wedges

Skewer sticks

Local bee pollen

Shredded coconut

Raw cacao nibs

Raw hemp seeds (seeds or chopped nuts of your choice)

  1. Melt chocolate bars in a double boiler on low-medium heat (to prevent from burning chocolate and changing flavor).
  2. Slice mango and insert skewer into each piece. Dip into melted chocolate and sprinkle desired toppings over it. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and continue until you've dipped all the slices. Transfer baking sheet to freezer for 5-10 minutes, until chocolate has firmed up.
  3. Enjoy! These store pretty well in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in an air-tight container.
