SPICY HOT CHOCOLATE
Mmmm I'm loving the cooler days. It's such a great time to slow down and practice more mindfulness.
I've personally been spending more time alone and feeling more quiet - looking inward. It allows me to stay present, get in touch with my creativity, and feel more grounded and at ease during often chaotic holiday times that are approaching. When I'm taken care of first, then I can give more love to others.
I'm especially loving cozying up with a hot chocolate and sharing it with loved ones.
This spicy hot chocolate has been a hit. It's made with our IGNITE chocolate bars, which are infused with goji extract, schizandra extract, cinnamon, and cardamom. This blend of herbs and spices really activates our sensuality - senses are on, we feel really good in our bodies! It's chocolate that helps us tap into our playful and pleasure energy, and we feel more open and happy. A great one to share with your lover(s).

3 cups hot water or nut/seed milk
1 Cinnamon stick
¼ teaspoon vanilla
⅛ teaspoon cayenne, to taste
Pinch of sea salt
2 IGNITE chocolate bars, broken up
Optional: Add 1-2 teaspoons raw honey if you'd like it sweeter
- In a small pot, whisk together water/milk, cinnamon stick, vanilla, cayenne, and sea salt. Heat until water/milk comes to a light simmer.
- Add chocolate pieces and whisk until melted. Taste and adjust seasoning to your preference (this is where you can add a bit of honey if you'd like it sweeter).
- Remove cinnamon stick and pour hot chocolate into mugs.
